Red Maple + Cherry inlaid with Walnut and Purpleheart
Made as a gift. Base wood planks reclaimed from scrap furniture wood. Purpleheart "petal" inlay was done by using a gouge to scrape away long slender shavings from the cutting board and glue in shavings gouged similarly from a block of purpleheart.
